| The world’s oldest woman has died at the age of 116 just a month after gaining the title. Jeralean Talley died at home in Michigan after recent treatment for fluid on the lungs in hospital according to her 77-year-old daughter, Thelma Holloway. She was born May 23, 1899, in Montrose, Georgia, and moved near Detroit, Michigan in 1935. May her soul rest in peace. |
