Mourinho Vs Pep: How Good Friends Turned Bitter Rivals (Facts To Know Before Their First Derby)

As the footballing world awaits the clash of the two Manchester sides, the spotlight has often been shifted from the play itself to the bitter rivalry between the two coaches involved, Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho.
The two great football coaches has a rivalry that could be traced back to their years as the coaches of Barcelona and Inter Milan respectively. Their feud reached its peak when Mourinho joined Barcelona’s fierce rivals, Real Madrid in 2010; they often clashed on the touchlines during El Clasico encounters and became sworn enemies.
However, it could be recalled that the pair used to be friends during their stay at Barcelona. Mourinho was an assistant coach while Guardiola was also a midfield maestro for the Catalan giants.
But their coaching career paths has turned them into bitter rivals with no love lost in between.
Although, Mourinho appears to be a bit relaxed about the rivalry but Guardiola seem not to hid his disgust for the Portuguese and his tactics.
The Spaniard often shies away from the conflict in the press but once said: “In this room [the Bernabeu press room] Mourinho is the f***ing chief, the f***ing boss. He knows all about this and I don’t want to compete with him in here.
“I’d just like to remind him that I worked with him for four years [at Barcelona]. He knows me and I know him.
“I try to learn from Jose on the pitch, but I prefer to learn as little as possible from him off the pitch.”
Mourinho on the other hand said: “Josep Guardiola is a fantastic coach. But I have won two Champions Leagues and he has won one Champions League – and that is one that would embarrass me.
“I would be ashamed to have won it with the scandal of Stamford Bridge. If he wins it this year, it will be with the scandal of the Bernabeu. Deep down, if they are good people, it cannot taste right for them.
“I hope one day Guardiola has the chance of winning a brilliant, clean championship with no scandal.”
Of course, Guardiola went on to win the Champions league for a second time but the Red Devils boss has not in any form reserved respect for his counterpart on the blue side of Manchester. The pair will be square up against each other in a thrilling derby match at the Old Trafford.

Wenger Wants Star Player To Become Arsenal Manager One Day (See Who)

Arsene Wenger has backed Jack Wilshere to one day become the manager of Arsenal despite the fact the midfielder has been allowed to leave the Emirates for Bournemouth this season.
Wilshere is expected to make his competitive debut for the Cherries against West Brom on Saturday after completing a season-long loan move to the south coast on Deadline Day.
However, Wenger insists the 24-year-old still remains an integral part of his plans and even hopes to see the England international manage the Gunners later in his career.
“I hope personally that he stays here his whole career,” said Wenger, ahead of Saturday’s match against Southampton.
“Certainly one day he will be in my [manger’s] seat. He has a real football brain and understands football. You know really, it’s in his genes. I see him in the future at this club of course. He will spend his life in football, he is a football man.
“He has an eye on everybody, it’s in him. You have that or you haven’t got it, but he is a real football man.”

Transfer Chief REVEALED: Chelsea Have A Secret List Of Clubs They Won’t Do Business With

English transfer chief, Mark Ashton has revealed Chelsea have a secret list of clubs they will not do business with.
Ashton who is currently the chief operating officer at Bristol city has disclosed that the London side has a list of clubs they avoid doing transfer business with while he disclosed details of getting Chelsea’s highly rated 18-year-old Tammy Abraham on a season long loan deal during the summer transfer window.
He revealed: ‘At the end of last season, Lee [Johnson, the Bristol City manager] went to Chelsea’s training ground and presented to [technical director] Michael Emenalo, while I went to Stamford Bridge and met Roman Abramovich’s board of directors,’
‘They had tried these arrangements with English clubs before and, in their words, they hadn’t worked. They gave me a list of clubs they would not do business with.
‘I asked them to give us Tammy for the season and then judge us on what we do, not what we say. I told them we would show them what we could do and then build a long-term relationship.
‘We then did the deal with Chelsea and sorted all of the finances, which were far from straightforward. Then we had to wait for [new Chelsea head coach Antonio] Conte.’
Although, the Blues sent 38 players out on loan during the summer window but it appears they have a streamlined number of club they avoid doing business with. It will be interesting to know what clubs are included in the list.

Lucky Child!!! This Baby That Was Born Onboard In A Plane Gets Free Tickets For Life From The Airline

A new-born baby has been awarded a lifetime of free flights on Buraq Air after his mother gave birth while aboard the airline.
The airline announced the gift on its Facebook page in celebration of the inflight birth.
The boy’s mother was flying from Tripoli in Libya to Niamey, the capital of Niger, when she went into labor, Buraq Air employee Amir Abu Sin told CNN.
Buraq Air, based in Tripoli, offers flights within Libya and to destinations in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
The bouncing baby boy happily, but rather surprisingly, arrived in the world with the help of the flight’s cabin crew. In recognition of their efforts, the mother named him Abdul Baset, after the plane’s captain.
Most airlines don’t keep records of births so statistics are hard to come by. But it seems there may be something in the air — as this isn’t the first baby born on a plane in the last month.
A baby girl, Haven, came bouncing into the world while her mom was on a flight from Dubai to Manila on August 14. Haven was gifted 1 million air miles from Philippines flight operator, Cebu Pacific.

Recession Is Not A 100 Metre Race – CBN Tells Nigerians To Brace Up To The Challenge

The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, has stated that the economic recession currently facing the country is not a 100 metre race but a marathon, hence Nigerians should brace up to the challenge.
This was disclosed yesterday in Enugu by the acting Director of Corporate Communications of the apex bank, Mr. Isaac Okorafor, while speaking at the ongoing CBN Fair in Enugu.
He declared that Nigerians must do this by patronising made-in Nigeria goods, instead of spending hard currencies in importing items like toothpick from China or chickens from South Africa.
Okorafor, who blamed the elites for the problems, pointed out that “farmers eat what they produced”.
His words, “We should stop importing chicken when we have them here. Nigeria should brace up. This is not 100 metre marathon. Let us brace up and change our ways.
“The most hit now are people who have refused to realise that we ought to eat what we produce, like the elite. Farmers eat what they produce.”

Shameful Act!!! Catholic Priest Banished For Impregnating Nun

A Catholic church in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe has banished its priest after he allegedly impregnated a nun.
The Chronicle reports that the priest was disciplined by the church for the shameful act.
The Archbishop of Bulawayo, Alex Thomas, confirmed that Father Kevin Mthunzi Takaendesa had been sanctioned for the offence.
The Archbishop said, “Father Kevin was disciplined for impregnating a nun and I have it in writing but he went to England on holiday which was planned at the beginning of the year. As you know that it’s not easy to walk to England.
“Disciplinary procedures are there in every field and as a church we’ve a Code of Canon Law which lays down administrative policies. If there is any misconduct we use it to discipline members.
“I can confirm that he (Father Takaendesa) went to England and came back to Bulawayo. The holiday had nothing to do with impregnating the nun as that is his own personal issue,” Archbishop Thomas said.
“I understand that a lot has been said about me and other priests but all this needs facts. I never transferred a priest to England after he impregnated a nun and I didn’t chase her away from church,” Archbishop Thomas said.
“Nuns have their own rules and systems. I don’t have to deal with nuns.” He asked people to stay away from social media rumours over the incident and his own private life.
“I’m not worried about social media gossip mongers claiming that I’ve two cars, a house and even a child who is in South Africa.
“Can you bring me the title deeds, car registration books and a birth certificate to prove all this malice?”

Winnie also went on to say you don’t need to sow seeds in church to have your prayers answered. See her full tweets below:

What do you guys think? Would you give your church N7m to sow seeds? Is the church wrong for collecting so much money even with the current recession in Nigeria?

Where Is The Bread-Seller Turned-model Olajumoke Orisaguna?

Olajumoke Orisaguna has vanished from social media, and this has gotten a lot of people talking.
Yesterday, top filmmaker, Charles Novia, took to his Facebook page to point out the oddity in the model’s disappearances from media, a fear he had earlier expressed after corporations fought over each other to hype the former breadseller.
“We don’t hear anymore about the Bread Seller turned model, Olajumoke Orisaguna,”
Novia said on his Facebook yesterday:-
“I wrote at the beginning of the media frenzy over her that she was just the flavour of the moment for a public looking for sweet distraction from realities in the polity and that she would be discarded by that same public and media once the curiosities wane. It’s happening now, innit?”
Olajumoke’s story kept social media busy for many months, until she slinked away from public eye.
However, in May, the mother of two resurfaced on social media to confirm that she dumped Few Models, the agency that first signed her on after her breaking story stunned the world, for Beth Model Africa.
Also, Olajumoke confirmed she was set to launch her foundation, the “Olajumoke Orisaguna foundation”. This came after she reportedly gave out N200,000 to some 40 breadsellers.
Now, there are worries that the media profited from her story and now has dumped her since the frenzy is over.
Her Instagram page was last updated six weeks ago.
“I thought about her two days ago and even did a social media random check. They no longer update her social media sef!,” Facebook user Ngozi Okafor said yesterday, and another,
Dino Cee said:-
“The whole thing looks like a staged managed conspiracy drama but if it really was a true story then I think the girl should be blamed for not advancing herself using the opportunity she got from that overnight fame, I mean that she should have used that opportunity to push herself into the Nollywood or try by any means to release a music album so as to remain relevant in the public circle, modeling is a career that you are only relevant when you are sought-after and it is very difficult for deals to come by all the time but in the Nollywood at least she can always get something with that quick fame even if it is a sub or extras if her charges are moderate, in the music she can always make herself an album anytime she wants more especially this days that lyrics has no meaning but rhythms to Nigerians.”

According to The Guardian, counsel to the first defendant in charge, with case number FHC/337C/16, Mr. Gboyega Oduwole, informed the court that Mrs. Jonathan filed a fundamental application against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), claiming ownership of the money.
The money came about after the EFCC had taken former presidential aide, Amajuoyi Azubike Briggs, former Skye Bank official, Damola Bolodeoku, Pluto Property and Investment Company Limited and Avalon Global Property Development Company Limited to court in an alleged $31.4 million fraud involving the companies without addresses.
Others also charged include Seagate Property Development and Investment Company Limited; Trans Ocean Property and Investment Company Limited, Avalon Global Property Development Company Limited and Globus Integrated Services Limited.
According to an application filed on September 6, this year, with file number FHC/L/C5/1233/16, Mrs. Jonathan is asking the court to make an order for the enforcement of her fundamental rights, in terms of reliefs she sought, and naming as defendants, the EFCC and Skye Bank Plc.

She also asked the court to declare that the action of the respondents in placing a No Debit/Freezing Order on the said accounts without any order of a competent court of law or prior notice to her, to be in breach of her fundamental rights as contained in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
